Aston Villa FC boss Martin O'Neill has told Patrik Berger he will not play for the club again after the ex-Czech international advised Villa captain Gareth Barry to move to Liverpool FC.
O'Neill said: "I was really disappointed and surprised Patrik would make such an inappropriate comment. He won't be playing any part from here." Berger, 34, has made just eight substitute outings in the Premier League for Villa this term. He joined the Birmingham side from Portsmouth FC in 2005 having earlier played 148 league games for Liverpool.
