Bochum 1848 have made Mimoun Azaouagh's move to the club permanent having spent this season on loan from Bundesliga rivals FC Schalke 04.

The 25-year-old Morocco-born midfielder has been a regular presence in the Bochum starting lineup since departing Gelsenkirchen on loan during the winter. The former 1. FSV Mainz 05 man has scored twice in 13 Bundesliga appearances, teeing up five others, and Bochum will retain his services until 2012 after the clubs agreed an undisclosed fee.
