FC Barcelona's Brazilian defender Sylvinho will be out for four weeks after damaging ligaments in his right knee during the 4-1 Primera División defeat at Real Madrid CF.

The 34-year-old will miss Barcelona's final two games of the season, at home to RCD Mallorca and away to Real Murcia CF. Barça can finish no higher than third and need four points to be certain of a bronze-medal finish.
