Real Zaragoza must complete their fight for Primera División survival without defender Carlos Diogo who has been ruled out for six months with knee ligament damage.

The Uruguayan international, 24, has injured ligaments in his right knee and faces a long lay-off. The former Real Madrid CF player has appeared in 29 of fifth-from-bottom Zaragoza's 36 league games but will miss the last two – at home to Madrid on Sunday and away to RCD Mallorca on 18 May.
