FC Zenit St. Petersburg captain Anatoliy Tymoschuk revelled in a "fantastic" night for the Russian champions after they defeated FC Bayern München 5-1 on aggregate in the UEFA Cup semi-finals.

"It is a fantastic feeling," said the midfielder after Zenit's resounding victory. "To beat Bayern 4-0 at home, with such great support, is simply fantastic. My personal task was to make sure we didn't concede – that was the important thing, and if we didn't concede, we knew we'd be through."
