MSV Duisburg midfielder Mihai Tararache has signed a three-year contract extension with the Bundesliga club. The former Romanian international, 30, has committed his future to Duisburg until summer 2011, having arrived midway through the 2005/06 campaign.

Tararache has scored six goals in 60 league games for a side bottom of Germany's top flight. "He is one of our key players and we want to build a team around him," said Duisburg director of football Bruno Hübner.
