Aston Villa have been asked by Arsenal to be kept informed about the on – going Gareth Barry saga.
At present Liverpool are stalling as they feel that the asking price is too high. Aston Villa’s manger Martin O’Neill has agreed to keep the London – based club informed on latest developments about the future of the Aston Villa midfielder. |

looks like Wenger is losing his touch........Guuner66 July 15th, 2008 15:22
on the contrary BTS. arsenal has no real holding midfielder right now. cesc is more attacking and gilberto is going to leave and flamini is gone. would be a shrewd signing if u ask me. and to steal him away from liverpool even better.indsc4 July 16th, 2008 17:25
Well put, Gunner. Barry is a quality player, and the only reason he's not starting for England is because of Gerrard, Carrick, Hargreaves, Joe Cole, and Lampard. It would be a great move for Arsenal.ajax72 July 17th, 2008 04:40
Considering the likes of Barry a 'quality player' explains why England hasn't and will hardly win anything in football.
