ROME (AFP) - French forward David Trezeguet was back in training on Wednesday with his Juventus team-mates just a day after pulling up with a muscle problem in his groin, the club website said.

Juventus have been suffering with injury problems to key players such as goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon and centre-back Giorgio Chiellini, as well as French full-back Jonathan Zebina and could ill afford the loss of their top scorer.

Third-placed Juve travel to sixth-placed Udinese at the weekend, under pressure following three successive draws and with Fiorentina and AC Milan starting to breathe down their necks.

"This is good news for boss (Claudio) Ranieri ahead of the trip to Udinese," said the club on its website.
