FC Bayern München midfielder Mark van Bommel is determined to play in Thursday's UEFA Cup semi-final first leg against FC Zenit St. Petersburg, despite nursing a broken nose.
"I have to pull myself together a little bit, but it isn't that bad," the 31-year old Dutchman said. He intends to play without a special protective mask.
