Frank Rijkaard will not resign in the aftermath of Barcelona´s 1-0 Champions League defeat by Manchester United at Old Trafford.

 With Barca not only failing to keep pace with bitter rivals Real Madrid in the title race but also slipping behind Villarreal in the table, it seems inevitable Rijkaard will be forced out in the summer.

 But he said: "Leaving has not entered my head. I have no intention of leaving. It would be a different thing if the players were saying it´s time for me to go but that´s not the case."
