Blackburn Rovers midfielder Tugay is hoping to carry on playing for another season. The Turk is out of contract at Ewood Park this summer, and at 37 is in the autumn of his career.
But the player's agent Simon Munir said: "Tugay definitely wants to do another year. We've had preliminary talks [about a new contract] but we haven't received any offer as yet. Tugay feels he can still play on for another year in The Premier League, and he wants to stay and finish his career at Blackburn, so I would hope he still has a role to play."

Blackburn recently signed Swiss international Johan Vogel and he will provide more competition for places in central midfield. Rovers manager Mark Hughes is expected to decide in the close season whether to keep Tugay on.
