ROME (AFP) - Juventus have completed the signing of Czech Republic international Zdenek Grygera, the Italian second division club confirmed on Thursday.

The 26-year-old defender, who has signed a five-year contract, will see out the remainder of his contract with Dutch club Ajax before joining Juventus in June.

Grygera has been with Ajax since the 2003-04 season.

Juventus are currently top of Serie B and on course for a swift return to the top division.

The Turin club were demoted from Serie A and given a nine-point penalty for their role in last summer´s match-fixing scandal.
