CAEN, Sep 27 (Sw) - French starlet Yohann Gouffran said that he rejected a move to Chelsea this summer to stay another year at Caen.
The 20-year old, regarded as one of Europe's top talents, wants to continue his football education at the French Ligue 2 outfit.
"I wanted to stay for at least one more year, because Caen's project is interesting," Gouffran told Skysports.com.
"The club's directors want to reach Ligue 1 next summer.
"If we fail, I will leave."
Other teams that approached Gouffran include Monaco and AJ Auxerre.
