SANTANDER, Sep 13 (SW) - Argentinian midfielder Lionel Scaloni will be joining Spanish Primera Division side Racing de Santander from Deportivo de la Coruña.

Scaloni moved to Europe from Estudiantes de La Plate in 1998, and won the Spanish league two years later, followed by the Copa del Rey in 2002.

After a struggle with Depor manager Joaquin Caparros, Scaloni spent the second half of last season on loan at West Ham United.
