San Sebastian, Oct 27 (SW) – Real Sociedad coach Jose Mari Bakero has been sacked by the club after a poor beginning to the season.

This poor start culminated in shock loss on Wednesday to second division Malaga in the first leg of their Copa de Rey match.

Real Sociedad lost the match 1 – 4.

Currently Real Sociedad are in last place with two points from seven Primera Division matches.

To date no replacement has been announced.
