ROME, Oct 21 (SW) - Roma midfielder Rodrigo Taddei has given a name to the trick he used during the clubs Champions League game against Olympiakos.
’The Aurelio,’ is the surprising title given to the move which saw the Brazilian shift his weight onto his left foot, before moving the ball either side of himself then back-heeling it.
“The title is dedicated to one of Luciano Spalletti’s assistant managers, Aurelio Andreazzoli,” Taddei told the Italian media.
“It’s a trick I use a lot in training and he dared me to replicate it in a match situation. Mission accomplished.”
Taddei is thought to have first attempted the trick as a youngster whilst at Palmeiras
