LUTON, Oct 29 (SW) – English championship team, Luton Town have announced that their defender Sol Davis had a stroke this weekend.

The team where travelling to Ipswich to prepare for today’s game when Davis had the stroke and he was immediately admitted to Cambridge's Addenbrookes Hospital.

"Sol has made a bit of an improvement but he lost feeling in his left side and it has affected his speech. It might take six months before he makes a complete recovery," announced Luton manager Mike Newell.

Luton went on to lose 5-0 to Ipswich today.
