EDINBURGH, Oct 27 (SW) – Captain of Hearts of Midlothian Steven Pressley read out a statement here today on behalf of his players in which he claimed that his players have lost confidence in the owner of the club Vladimir Romanov.

Amidst confusion and controversy surrounding manager Valdas Ivanuaskas’s break of two weeks for health reasons, Pressley went on to add that team morale was extremely low and that there was unrest within the ranks.

He added that it was not a reflection on interim coach Eduard Malofeev that morale had been reduced to nothing, but that of the chairman who could not coordinate the running of the club between players and officials. The correct values and discipline were not being pursued.
