VIGO, Oct 15 (SW) - Thanks to the help of former Valencia man Ernesto Canobbio, Celta de Vigo handed Los Che their first loss of the season, 3-2 at Balaídos.

David Navarro fired the visitors into the lead five minutes before the half-time whistle blew in Galicia, but Fernando Baiano pulled Celta level in stoppage time, making it 1-1 at the break.

Iriney then fired Celta into the lead in the 52nd minute before Canobbio stuck it to his old club with the goal that made it 3-1 four minutes later.

That goal proved to be huge after Fernando Morientes pulled one back for Valencia in the 63rd minute, but the home side held on for a very valuable three points.
