GLASGOW, Nov 28 (SW) - Nacho Novo has revealed he is ready to leave Rangers and would like a return to Spanish football.

27-year old Novo has been in Scotland since 2001 when he signed for Raith Rovers, the Spaniard was quickly snapped up by Dundee before moving to Rangers.

"I hope to return to Spain soon, I have been away five years and it starts to feel like too much time. Despite this, I am happy in Glasgow, " said Novo.

He added, "I am rated higher abroad than in my home country, but I have much desire to return to Spanish football."

Novo is not thought to favour a move to Celtic and stated he "wouldn't do that to the fans."
