NAPLES, Nov 9 (SW) - AS Napoli defeated Parma 1-0 in the first leg of the Coppa Italia round of sixteen, and are close to a spot in the quarter finals.

The only goal of the match at the legendary San Paolo of Naples was scored in the 68th minute, when Cristian Bucchi converted a penalty kick.

In August, Napoli beat Juventus on penalties to advance to the round of sixteen.
