TURIN, May 7 (SW) - Juventus are just one match away from winning the Italian championship following a 2-1 win over Palermo at Delle Alpi stadium.

Juventus - Palermo 2-1

Czech playmaker Pavel Nedved took care of the opening goal after 31 minutes, and Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic added a second in the 51st.

Godeas got one back for Palermo in the 62 minutes but Juventus managed to maintain their lead over the Sicilians.

Parma - AC Milan 2-3

A penalty from Kaká opened the score in Milan's favour after 29 minutes, and fellow countryman Cafu got the second goal in the 43rd.

Corradi scored back for Parma in the 54th minute but Clarence Seesorf restored the gap of two in the 56th.

With two minutes left to play, Corradi got another to set the final score to 2-3.

The difference between Juventus and AC Milan is now three points, with just one matchday left to go. A draw with Reggina will be enough for Juventus to win the title.

Internazionale - Siena 1-1

Inter Milan were held to a 1-1 draw by AC Siena. Julio Ricardo Cruz broke the deadlock on the hour mark, but Gastaldello equalized for Siena in stoppage time. Inter's Burdisso was sent off just before the final whistle.

Fiorentina - Reggina 5-2

Fiorentina netted five to beat Reggina 5-2 in Firenze. Fiore, Toni (2), Jorgensen and Bojinov scored for the hosts, while Amoruso got both goals for Reggina.

AS Roma - Treviso 1-0

AS Roma can still hope for a top-four classification following a 1-0 win over Treviso. The only goal was scored by defensive midfielder Damiano Tommasi in the 36th minute.

Ascoli - Lazio Roma 1-4

Lazio needed only twenty minutes to take a 0-3 lead with goals from Stendardo, Oddo (penalty) and Pandev. Ferrante then got one back for Ascoli in the 30th minute but Rocchi set the score to 1-4 in the 57th.

Lecce - Chievo Verona 0-0

No goals were scored at Lecce versus Chievo Verona, and a UEFA Cup spot is now impossible to reach for the visitors. Chievo had Scurto sent off in the 44th minute.

Livorno - Sampdoria 0-0

Another scoreless draw was the result of Livorno against Sampdoria. Livorno are now ninth with 49 points, while 'Samp' are 13th with 41st.

Messina - Empoli 1-2

Two goals from Pozzi, in the 3rd and 70th minutes, gave Empoli a safe lead at Messina. The hosts had Cristante sent off with a second yellow card in the 81st minute, but did manage to score a consolation goal through Nocerino in the 89th.

Udinese - Cagliari 2-0

Udinese had a 2-0 victory over Cagliari, with Iaquinta opening the score in the 15th minute and Barreta adding a second in the 68th.
