ROME, Mar 5 (SW) - A last-gasp equalizer by Marco Materazzi lifted Inter Milan to a draw against AS Roma at Stadio Olimpico, ending the home side's run of 11 consecutive Serie A victories. That allowed Fiorentina to climb back into fourth place with a dramatic win.

AS Roma - Inter Milan 1-1

Roma went in front at a packed stadium in the capital city after Mancini left the ball for Rodrigo Taddei to slam into the Inter net after just nine minutes.

Inter pressured constantly throughout the game for an equalizer and they finally got it in the 89th minute when Materazzi put a header from a corner kick into the goal for a dramatic leveler.

Fiorentina - Siena 2-1

Luca Toni put the Viola into the lead in the third minute after he got his boot to a cross by Stefano Fiore, but Siena pulled themselves level through Simone Vergassola in the 15th minute after goalkeeper Bogdan Lobont parried Enrico Chiesa's shot.

It was a tense match the rest of the way as Fiorentina were trying to keep pace with the Italian elite, and it looked as if they would have to settle for a draw until Giampaolo Pazzini put the ball in the net after a goalmouth scramble right at the death.

Livorno - Cagliari 0-1

With relegation a real threat to the Sardinians, Cagliari looked like they had been outmatched by Livorno, but a 76th-minute goal by David Suazo after some nice work up the middle by Massimo Gobbi secured an unlikely win.

Chievo - Lazio 2-2

Lazio went in front just after the half-hour mark with a goal by Stefano Mauri, but Simone Tribocchi struck twice in the 42nd and 45th minutes to send Chievo to the break with a 2-1 advantage.

Just moments after coming on as a substitute, Albanian international striker Igli Tare won a penalty after being hauled down in the area, and Massimo Oddo converted the spot kick to equalize for Lazio.

Lecce - Palermo 2-0

Lecce moved off the bottom of the Serie A table with their first win since December, but didn't go in front until Mirko Vucinic struck a goal in the 63rd minute, followed shortly by Guillermo Giacomazzi eight minutes later.

Messina - Parma 0-1

Two sides battling against relegation met on Sunday and Parma came away with three valuable points after Australian international Mark Bresciano struck the winner with six minutes to play.

Udinese - Ascoli 1-1

Udinese have not won in the Italian top flight since the new year began, and things didn't get better as a late equalizer earned a point for ten-man Ascoli.

Antonio Di Natale put the home side in front in the 77th minute, and Ascoli were down to ten players after Roberto Guana was dismissed in the 83rd minute. However, Rodrigo Defendi conceded a penalty and Maurizio Domizzi converted the spot kick for Ascoli.

Treviso - Reggina 0-1

Treviso now sit at the bottom of the standings after Nicola Amoruso hit a winning goal at the very end to keep the home side on just two wins in their first season in Serie A.
