PALERMO/MILAN, Mar 22 (SW) - Palermo and Internazionale are close to reaching the Coppa Italia final following first leg wins over AS Roma and Udinese respectively.

Palermo - AS Roma 2-1

Not a minute had been played when AS Roma took the lead with a goal from Simone Perrotta, but the home fans were relieved when Franco Brienza levelled only three minutes later.

The Sicilians would even win the match, as Massimo Mutarelli scored for 2-1 in the 69th minute.

Internazionale - Udinese 1-0

Udinese failed to score a valuable away goal at Giuseppe Meazza stadium, and Inter are with one leg in the final as Santiago Solari got the only goal of the match, 1-0 in the 20th minute.

The second leg matches are scheduled to be played on April 12th.
