HAMBURG, Mar 12 (SW) - No surprises occured in the Bundesliga on Sunday as Hamburger defeated Kaiserslautern while Schalke 04 were the stronger side against Eintracht Frankfurt.
Hamburger SV - Kaiserslautern 3-0
The match in Hamburg was postponed by 75 minutes as result of ice and snow falling from the stadium roof.
Once the match had started, it would take another 55 minutes for Benjamin Lauth to open the score in Hamburg's favour. Fabian Schonheim scored an own goal for 2-0 in the 62nd and the third and final goal came from Dutchman Rafael van der Vaart, who converted a penalty kick in the 86th minute.
Schalke 04 - Eintracht Frankfurt 2-0
Schalke 04 needed until the 51st minute to break the deadlock through Soren Larsen, and forward Ebbe Sand added a security goal in stoppage time.
