UDINE, Jul 25 (SW) – Udinese have ruled out the possibility of allowing either Vincenzo Iaquinta or Sulley Ali Muntari to quit the club this summer.

“Iaquinta and Muntari aren’t leaving Udinese. There’s no reason why either of them should leave,” declared club president Giampaolo Pozzo.

Iaquinta, who has been linked with a move to AS Roma, was a member of the Azzurri squad that secured World Cup glory in Germany, whilst Ghanaian Muntari has emerged as a dominant midfielder in Serie A in the last two seasons.

After an unexpected relegation battle last summer, Udinese will be looking for bigger and better things this coming campaign.
