GLASGOW, Jan 21 (SW) – Norwegian striker Steffen Iversen could be set to replace the recently departed Chris Sutton at Celtic.

The player is looking to leave current club Valernenga during the current transfer window, with his agent confirming that Glasgow is a possible destination.

"Celtic are one alternative," said agent Rune Hauge.

"There are many clubs who have shown interest.

"In case the right offer comes, we are ready to make a decision.

"But we are talking to many clubs."

Iversen’s height up-front would be a valuable addition to The Bhoys squad, after allowing Chris Sutton to move to Birmingham two weeks ago.
