MADRID, Jan 28 (SW) - Atletico de Madrid had a 3-2 victory over Deportivo la Coruña, while Getafe suffered a 1-0 defeated by Athletic de Bilbao.

Atletico opened the score through Maxi Rodriguez in the 33rd minute, but Ruben Castro levelled for the visiting side in the 47th. Antonio Lopez restored the hosts' lead in the 55th minute but this time it was Joan Capdevila to equalize in the 58th. The decision came in the 81st minute however, when Rodriguez scored his second goal for 3-2.

Athletic de Bilbao - Getafe 1-0

Athletic de Bilbao are slowly but surely leaving the relegation zone, with a 1-0 victory over Getafe. The only goal of the match came in the 74th minute, when Pablo Orbaiz converted a spotkick for the Basque side.

Cádiz - Racing de Santander 1-1

Racing Santander took the lead when Felipo Melo scored from a penalty in the 65th minute, but Raul Lopez resqued a point for the hosts in the 74th minute.
