MILAN, Jan 12 (SW) – AC Milan have identified Marcio Amoroso as the player to replace the departed Christian Vieri.

The Brazilian has had previous spells in Italy with Udinese and Parma and now looks set to sign an 18-month contract to join the Rossoneri.

"This is my big chance," admitted the Brazilian.

Amoroso, who currently plays for Sao Paolo, will undergo a medical at Milan’s training headquarters before the deal is finalised.
