MILAN, Feb 12 (SW) - Juventus now have a 12-point lead over both Inter Milan and AC Milan in the Serie A standings after they beat Inter at the San Siro on Sunday.

Inter Milan - Juventus 1-2

It took the leaders 63 minutes to get on the scoreboard as Swedish international striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic found the net for Juve, but Inter defender Walter Samuel equalized 11 minutes later to give his side hope of closing the gap at the top.

It wasn't to be, however, as veteran striker Alessandro Del Piero scored for the Bianconeri five minutes from time to secure a big away win in their search for the Scudetto.

Reggina - AC Milan 1-4

A hat-trick by veteran striker Filippo Inzaghi lifted Milan into second place in the table, level on points with Inter.

Despite getting thoroughly outplayed, Reggina actually first had the lead in the match after Carlos Paredes scored 10 minutes in, but Inzaghi got his first just four minutes later to pull the Rossoneri level.

Alberto Gilardino made it 2-1 to Milan before the break and Inzaghi struck again seven minutes after the restart to make it 3-1. He then capped off his treble in the dying stages of the match.

Livorno - Fiorentina 2-0

Livorno got a much-needed victory over ten-man Fiorentina to keep them in the top six in the Italian league.

Cristiano Lucarelli scored a penalty in the 67th minute for Livorno, conceded when a foul by Dario Dainelli led to him being sent off.

Lucarelli then put the game away as he scored his second of the match ten minutes later.

Siena - Roma 0-2

Fiorentina's loss allowed red-hot Roma to get within two points of the Champions League places after their win at Siena.

Siena held up well until the 70th minute when Daniele De Rossi punched the back of the net for the capital city side.

Brazilian forward Mancini then capped off the victory with an insurance goal at the death to keep his hit form in tact.

Sampdoria - Messina 4-2

Sampdoria's on-and-off form was back on as they beat Messina in a thriller in Genoa.

Zlatan Muslimovic put the visiting Sicilians in front in the 17th minute, but Marcello Castellini leveled for the home side just two minutes later.

Marco Storari was sent off for Reggina in the 65th minute and that seemed to open up the game as Sampdoria stormed into the lead with a penalty from Sergio Volpi.

Max Tonetto made it 3-1 to the home side with ten minutes to play before Arturo Di Napoli struck a spot kick for the visitors. It was all for naught, though, as Salvatore Foti struck lead to ensure the victory for Sampdoria.

Empoli - Palermo 0-1

Palermo continued to play well as they recorded a surprise win over Empoli after being reduced to ten men with 15 minutes to play.

Paul Constantin Codrea was dismissed in the 75th minute for his second bookable offense of the match, but Andrea Barzagli still managed to score the winner at the death for Palermo.

Parma - Ascoli 0-0

Parma are still within reach of the relegation zone after they were held to a goalless draw at home by Ascoli.

Ascoli nearly stole the match at the end when Alfredo Carriello forced a nice save out of Parma goalkeeper Luca Bucci, but Parma are just one point out of the bottom three.

Cagliari - Lecce 0-0

Same story for Cagliari as they are also just one point clear of the drop zone after being held by basement side Lecce.

Lecce's woes continued and they finished the match with ten men after Alfonso Camorani was sent off in the 80th minute.
