FRANKFURT, Dec 9 (SW) - Led by a Naldo hat-trick, Bundesliga leaders Werder Bremen kept their top spot this weekend with a 6-2 victory at Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday.

Naldo opened the scoring after just three minutes to quickly put the visitors on the right track, but Frankfurt initially put up some resistance as Marco Russ equalized less than 60 seconds later.

The game then appeared to be destined for a goal fest when Daniel Jensen retook the lead for Bremen after 11 minutes, and Naldo added his second goal 20 minutes later, leaving Bremen 3-1 in front at half-time.

Naldo then completed his treble just three minutes after the restart to put the game out of reach for Frankfurt, but Bremen did get further goals from Jurica Vranjes and Diego before Sotiris Kyrgiakos got a late consolation for the home side.
