SEVILLE, Dec 19 (SW) – French defender Julien Escude has explained that Sevilla are starting to feel tired as their La Liga campaign reaches its winter break.

Escude knows that Sevilla still have to face Deportivo before they can re-charge for the next stage of the season, but his teams 3-1 win over Recreativo means they currently hold top spot in Spain.

"My body is a little tired. There are various players who are also affected. The squad is good, but to stay at the top we have to be patient and reinforce for injuries and other things," revealed Escude.

He added, " We are going to rest well and concentrate before we play against Deportivo."
