BREMEN, Dec 17 (SW) - A late strike by Naldo lifted Werder Bremen to a 2-1 victory over Wolfsburg, sending them back to the Bundesliga summit.

Daniel Jensen fired Thomas Schaaf's men into the lead in the 17th minute, only to see Isaac Boakye level matters four minutes before the teams headed for half-time.

Despite immense Bremen pressure to grab the winner in the second half, it appeared that Wolfsburg just might survive, but Naldo broke their resistance four minutes from time to secure the win.

Bremen are level on points with second-placed Schalke, but have a vastly superior goal difference.
