TURIN, Apr 9 (SW) - Fiorentina had a chance to remain in fourth place in Serie A on Sunday, but an early penalty miss cost them as they played out a draw at leaders Juventus.

Juventus - Fiorentina 1-1

With 16 minutes played, Fiorentina were awarded a penalty after Luca Toni was brought down in the area by Jonathan Zebina, but Luis Jiménez's effort was stopped by Gianluigi Buffon.

That didn't stop the visitors from snatching the lead in the 47th minute as Toni was the recipient of a Jiménez cross, but Alessandro Del Piero, back from injury, received a pass from Patrick Vieira before firing beyond Bogdan Lobont in the 62nd minute to level the match at 1-1

Fiorentina now sit a point behind Roma for fourth place in the league.

AC Milan - Chievo Verona 4-1

Chievo did take the lead at San Siro stadium, with a goal from Sergio Pellissier in the 13th minute. But defender Alessandro Nesta levelled fifteen minutes later, and Milan eventially went ahead through Kaká in the 62nd.

The Brazilian scored another from the penalty spot in the 71st minute, and netted a third in added time to complete the hat-trick, 4-1.

AS Roma - Lecce 3-1

AS Roma had a convincing win over Lecce with goals from Alessandro Mancini (penalty) in the 20th minute, Christian Chivu in the 23rd and again Mancini in the 73rd. Lecce's Gennaro Delvecchio got a consolation goal in the 90th minute.

Siena - Lazio 2-3

Lazio had their twelfth victory of the season, away to Siena. After takine a secure lead through Stefano Mauri in the 14th minute and Tommaso Rocchi in the 22nd, Lazio allowed Siena to find their way back into the game.

Simone Vergassola gave the hosts renewed hope in the 24th minute and Enrico Chiesa levelled in the 40th. But the decider came from Ousmane Dabo, for Lazio in the 50th minute.

Cagliari - Palermo 1-1

David Suazo's 45th-minute goal appeared to be enough for Cagliari to take three points against Palermo, but the Sicilians eventually equalized through David Di Michele in stoppage time.

Parma - Reggina 4-0

Parma were never troubled by a weak Reggina, and achieved an easy victory with goals from Mark Bresciano, Fabio Enrico Simplicio, Matteo Contini (penalty) and Daniele Dessena. Reggina's Ivan Franceschini got a second yellow card in the 63rd minute.

Empoli - Sampdoria 2-1

Two goals from Antonio Busce, in the 29th and 47th minutes, gave Empoli a comfortable lead over Sampdoria. The visitors did get one back through Francesco Flachi, who scored from the penalty spot on the hour mark.

Messina - Treviso 3-1

Messina's Sergio Floccari opened the score after 14 minutes but had his goal cancelled out by Dino Fava only one minute later.

Giuseppe Sculi restored Messina's lead in the 71st minute however and Arturo Di Napoli added a third for security in the 73rd minute.
