MADRID, Sep 22 (SW) - Real Madrid scored three goals in the second half to beat Athletic de Bilbao in the Spanish Primera Division. Jonathan Woodgate, who finally played after seventeen months, had his debut turning into a nightmare.

The English defender, who joined Madrid in 2004 but has been injured ever since, deflected a shot from Josebi Etxebarria in the 25th minute, leaving goalkeeper Casillas without a chance.

In the second half, things were turned around by Robinho in the 53rd minute and Raul in the 65th, but Madrid's lead was threatened when Woodgate collected his second yellow card in the 66th.

Striker Raul remained focused however, and scored the winning goal just three minutes later.
