UMEÅ, Oct 23 (SW) - Umeå IK has ended it's titlewinning season in style. The women from the north of Sweden won from their main rivals this season Malmö FF. A seasonrecord crowd of 6,713 saw Umeå getting 2-0 up by halftime to end it a comfortable 3-1 win.

With the championship already won last week at QBIK the game between the two topteams of the Damallsvenskan was only for the records. Marta did not win the topscorerstable, because Theresa Lundin scored her 21st goal, just as much as Marta who did not score saturdays match. At the half hour mark Anna Sjöström scored her 18th goal of the season, 1-0. Just before the break Frida Östberg made it two for Umeå IK. In the 64th minute Theresa Lundin scored her important goal for Malmö FF to lower the gap between the two teams. But four minutes later Anna Mäkinen decided the match for Umeå IK.
