HALMSTAD/BERLIN, Nov 24 (SW) - Sampdoria came back from behind to beat Halmstad and take the second place in UEFA Cup Group C, while Hertha and Lense held each other to a scoreless draw.

Halmstad - Sampdoria 1-3

The Swedish hosts had a good start and took the lead through Dusan Djuric in the 18th minute. Sergio Volpi levelled in the 31st however, and goals from Aimo Stefano Diana in the 67th and 86th minutes set the score to 1-3.

Hertha BSC - Lens 0-0

Hertha and Lens both failed to score in the German capital. Four teams now have 4 points, but Lens needed three games to achieve that amount. Steaua, Sampdoria and Hertha all played 2 matches. Halmstad are at the bottom with zero points.
